Decreased Libido, Sexual Sensation & Confidence

Decreased Libido & Sexual Sensation

A decreased libido is incredibly common in women and can happen for a variety of reasons. It’s not always a case of ‘not being in the mood’ – often there are physical reasons a woman may not be as keen on sex as she used to, and may not get as much enjoyment as she once did.

Changes to the body during childbirth or menopause can alter a woman physically but also alter her sense of self, and personal fulfilment. Difficulty becoming aroused or reaching orgasm and not enjoying intimacy can cause emotional stress and put pressure on relationships.

Our own sensuality and vibrancy is an important part of who we are, and a lowered libido can affect us in many ways.

What Can Cause Low Libido in Women?

Changes to the body during childbirth or menopause can alter a woman emotionally and physically, and it’s no surprise there can be a big impact on the intimate area. Sensitivity of the vagina and its function can be a big change which is difficult to deal with.

A decreased libido is often due to vaginal laxity which can lead to a lack of sensitivity in the vaginal skin and tissue, such as vaginal opening and clitoris. Vaginal laxity can lead to vaginal dryness and cause discomfort, pain, or an emotional stress that is hard to tackle. A diminishing libido can have a negative emotional impact, affecting sense of self, body confidence and a woman’s sensuality.

Angela and Caroline at Femme Finesse feel passionate about helping women to feel confident in themselves physically and emotionally. They hope that they can help more women to not just ‘put up with’ a lowered libido, but to rediscover their sex drive and regain their sense of who they are intimately, too.

Low Libido in Menopause

When approaching or experiencing menopause, natural estrogen and testosterone levels change and these changes can affect the form, feeling and function of the vagina, with women often experiencing a lack of or diminished sensation during sex. This is usually caused by vaginal laxity which causes poor blood flow, looser skin and tissue, and a lack of sensation.

In turn this can lead to a combination of other symptoms, including vaginal atrophy, dryness and discomfort, pain during sex, lack of sensitivity in the vaginal opening and clitoris and discomfort with the appearance of the area, including the labia, which may make many women feel self-conscious.

Previous changes during childbirth to the vaginal walls, canal and skin, can contribute to a lack in sensation and ability to feel stimulated and aroused.

The good news is that by stimulating blood flow, increasing collagen production and rejuvenating vaginal tissue and structure, Ultra Femme 360™ can vastly improve these symptoms and lead to a significant increase in sexual pleasure for women, enabling them to regain an enjoyment of their sex life again.

How can Ultra Femme 360™  Improve Libido?

Through radiofrequency waves, Ultra Femme 360™ stimulates the body’s natural healing processes, regenerating new  collagen in both the internal and external areas of the vagina, having a toning and tightening effect on vaginal tissue. The main impact of treatment is stimulating blood flow. This is responsible for sensitivity and sensation, which is where sexual pleasure can be heightened. An increase in arousal and natural lubrication can then lead to more enjoyable and relaxing sex.

Improvements can be felt by patients very soon after treatment and can vastly improve sexual experience. The impact of treatment can lead to an enjoyed sexual experience and confidence and a sense of 'getting yourself back' for many women.
